KG/1 Arabic Class Updates

This week we worked on recognizing the letter Ta in the beginning, middle, and end of a word. To do this we had the children work with play-dough and create the letter either in the beginning, middle, or end. We also stressed the difference between Ta and Ba: Ta has two dots at the top, and Ba has one dot at the bottom.
Home work was sent home this week with your child so they can further solidify the idea that the letter Ta changes shape depending on whether it is in the beginning middle or end of the word.
Please also review the first three ayahs of Surat Al Fatiha with your child.
