Community Choir

Join the long Islamic tradition of remembering God and His beloved messenger through song. The Mohammed Webb Foundation Community Choir welcomes singers and want-to-be singers of all ages.

The Choir sings in both Arabic, English, and Urdu and welcomes the opportunity to sing God’s praises in all languages. Participants will receive vocal and breathing training, will learn musical scales, and will learn harmonization.

The Choir is directed and accompanied by Amro Helmy, a renowed composer and oud player. For almost 30 years, Amro has taught music to students of all ages.

Practice/meetings will be held on Sundays from 12 – 1 PM at Kindi Academy.
